Printing

AI W – 42

AI W – 42 is an innovative modified polymer compound to finish 100% woven fabrics. It turns open end cotton fabric into combed cotton.

FEATURES

Produces a silky, soft hand.
Suitable for woven fabrics.
Micro emulsion permits penetration of fabrics to produce superb drape.
Improves sewability and needle cutting resistance.
Ultra low yellowing.
Durable to laundering.
Maintains full light fastness.
Easy to use.
Requires no catalyst or cross linker additions.
Effective on natural fibers.

PROPERTIES

Activity: 42%.
Ionic Character: Non-ionic.
Composition: Smoothing resins and additives.
Appearance: Amber.
Specific gravity: 1.0.
Solubility: Easily soluble in cold water.
pH (NEAT): 3.5.
Compatibility: Stable to most chemicals typically used in finishing operations, including anionic and cationic systems.

APPLICATION

Exhaust method: 0.2 – 1 %.
PH 5.5 – 6.0.
30 °C; 20 minutes.
Padding: 5 – 80 g/l.

The goods are dried at the usual temperatures of 150°C.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Store between 35F/2C and 105F/40C. Keep drums tightly closed. The usual precautions in keeping chemicals from skin and eyes and avoiding excessive inhalation of vapors should be observed.

12 months minimum
